- 3 sets of 1/4" thick 5x7'' / 6x8'' to 6 1/2'' speaker adapter plates from

,and the factory installed spacer were stacked, to allow clearance for the 2.75" deep woofer from an Image Dynamics CTX65CS component set. (stacking of speaker adapter plates or spacers is not necessary if using shallow speakers in this vehicle)

were stacked on the front side of the speaker, to prevent the speaker cone or surround from touching the door panel.
